Darla Rae is a singer-songwriter from Bremerton, WA. Vocally jazz, instrumentally indie, and everything in between R&B soul is the conglomerate of what you’d experience when watching her. From being an active member in choral and jazz choirs over the years, to ballet/hip hop dancing for 18+ years and teaching for 3 years; from being in an indie band called “Foxing Gloves” to getting to perform her solo work with “Sofar Sounds” for the first time last year, she is no stranger to the stage. Her musical delivery maintains a sense of spunk and fun. She has been taking a pause in her compositional writing as of lately, to better educate and support her community and the BLM movement, but tentatively has an EP in the works to be released in September. And she loves her family and friends soooo much!
